The larger the online business you own, do business on or are thinking about starting the more impact the Marketplace Fairness Act will have on you.  With an exemption for small businesses that do $1,000,000 in online gross sales annually, a number of Montana's small businesses may not be impacted by the actual tax.  They may/will be impacted however by the obligatory provisions of recordkeeping, auditing, order tracking etc. that goes with the legislation if passed.  Obviously if you have high expectations of growth through your online store then "look out."
